What if I just want a single logo?
Your brand identity is much more robust than a logo alone. You need a visual identity system that grows with you — one that you can use across all marketing channels in all formats.
What if I don’t like any of the 3 initial concepts you give me to choose from?
We have an open conversation about it. Everything we do in regard to your brand identity is based on your brand platform and sound marketing strategy. This is why we offer three different concepts — to get a feel for what you gravitate toward. However, keep in mind that your visual identity is crafted based on your target audience. And sometimes that’s a different population than your leadership team. Open communication is what makes this process work!
How long does the Visual Identity process take?
If you’ve already completed the Brand Platform phase, the Visual Identity process takes between 6-8 weeks, depending on your feedback and our bandwidth. If you need to establish a Brand Platform first, add 4 weeks to the timeline.
How many colors do I get?
We offer a diverse color palette so your brand feels dynamic and consistent without only relying on 1-2 colors. We want you to have fun with the branding and make it easy to implement. Our color palettes range between 4-6 colors depending on your industry and desired “feel.”
I already have an idea of what I want. Can you make it?
Maybe. We run what we call an open conversation studio. If you have a killer idea, we’re all ears! But we don’t want you to be married to a not-so-great idea when there are potentially better ways to solve your visual identity crisis and appeal to your desired demographic.
What makes a good logo?
1. It works at the size of a penny.
2. A 5-year-old can recreate it in crayons.
3. It works in one color.
If a logo meets all three of these criteria, it’s going to stand out and be more memorable. Your entire brand identity uses all elements of language, so everything doesn’t ride on your logo alone. The colors, image styles, patterns, customer service, and messaging all work together to build up your brand. This relieves a ton of pressure for your logo, so we’re free to keep it simple and memorable. Our branding company has learned the art of making complicated things simple, bold, and effective.
