Six Podcasts You Should Have On Your Phone
I was sitting with a friend the other evening over a bottle of wine and we were talking about life. We started to discussing how funny it was that we were so into podcasts yet when we were teenagers we never understood why adults listened to Talk Radio and not to the latest jams. Honestly, I couldn’t even tell you one of the top 10 songs on the charts right now. Podcasts have taken over my phone and my iTunes is never opened.
Here are some of the podcasts I am listening to weekly to gather inspiration either in design or in business.
1— The Futur by Chis Do. Chris Do has an amazing youtube channel chock full of amazing tips for creative entrepreneurs from how to price yourself to understanding your value to helping people navigate the entrepreneur waters. Highly recommend you start with the Errol Gerson. Truly life changing.
2— Goal Digger by Jenna Kutcher. Though the name may be a bit cheesy the content is supreme. Jenna gives all sorts of marketing tips for people starting out to those that are already seasoned entrepreneurs. I am constantly learning new tips or getting ideas from her bi-weekly podcast.
3— Rise by Rachel Hollis. When I first started listening to this one I was a bit underwhelmed but I truly think I had just tuned into the wrong ones to start. Rachel is full of great info and her guest speakers are amazing. She discusses topics ranging from entrepreneurship to personal finances.
4— 99% Invisible was the podcast that truly started this whole obsession. Full of great stories and tidbits of how things function and the true story behind the design of many things. This is a podcast made for those insatiably curious creatures like me.
5— Household Name is another great show which features how companies utilized their brand for their markets.
6 — I make a living by Freshbooks. This podcast interviews different entrepreneurs at different stages of their careers. This is a great show if you are an entrepreneur as it makes you feel like you’re not alone.
These are just a few of my favorites that keep me inspired, educate me on something, or assure me that my feelings are completely normal. Which podcasts are your favorite?
